Made for your photographs

The whole picture. A little more of the story.

Keep the whole photo.

The person at the edge. The landscape around you. Every photo fits inside the display. Consecutive portraits appear side by side; landscapes and square photos get the screen to themselves.

Date & place

Remember when. And where.

Optional captions show the capture date and location when they’re available. A little more of the story, whenever you want it.

Your pace

Let the memories linger.

Change photos every 10 seconds to one hour. Follow them through time or let shuffle bring back something unexpected.

A few things to know

Before you find it a spot.

What is free, and what does Complete Unlock add?

The app is free to download, and All photos playback stays free. An optional 14-day trial unlocks playback of Favourites and chosen albums. It starts only when you activate it. Afterwards, those collections require a one-time Complete Unlock purchase. The app shows your local price before you decide. There’s no subscription or automatic charge.

What happens to Live Photos?

Live Photos play automatically without sound. Hold one to replay it with sound when the photo has audio. If Reduce Motion is on, Live Photos do not play automatically.

Which iPads can I use?

You’ll need an iPad running iPadOS 26 or later. Check your iPad’s software version in Settings before getting started.

Does it work with Apple Photos?

Yes. Choose your photo library, Favourites, or an album. Browsing albums requires full Photos access. With limited access, All photos and Favourites include only the photos you’ve allowed.

What happens when I tap a photo’s heart?

The heart marks or unmarks the photo as a favourite in Apple Photos. Choose Favourites as your frame’s source to return to those photos. The original image stays unchanged, and marking favourites does not require a purchase.

Can I use the frame offline?

Photos already cached on your iPad can display offline. Photos stored only in iCloud need a connection to download, so a whole album may not be available without internet access.

Should I leave the iPad plugged in?

Yes. The frame is designed for use while plugged in. Keeping the display on uses battery power, and brightness and downloads also affect consumption.

Will every photo show a date and location?

Only when that information is available in the photo. Captions are off by default. Apple Maps location names require a separate opt-in that sends the photo’s coordinates to Apple; the photograph itself is not sent.

Do I need to create an account?

There’s no separate app account to create. Your photographs come from Apple Photos, using the normal iPad permission settings.

When can I download it?

The app is being prepared for the App Store. The download link and release details will appear here when it’s ready.
